I'm so sad I just had to make a bad JPG about it.
You gotta love how my wobbly circle isn't even attached at the top. Or not. |
Oh yes. GOSH make-up brushes are no longer part of the 3 for 2 on GOSH offer at Superdrug.
Okay, maybe I'm wrong. Maybe this is just my local Superdrug, which has just had a makeover. The cosmetics section is now much larger. It has both Sleek and Accessorize stands! Big yay! But the GOSH counter has shrunk. There are now no brushes as part of the display. Naturally, I was horrified, and hunted as best I could in a daze of minor panic for the brushes. They're now with the other cosmetic tools, and are not in the 3 for 2. No 3 for 2 signage. It gets worse. The full-price brushes there now have really tiny handles. Again, this may just be my local store, I have seen the longer-handled versions elsewhere recently, but everywhere else I try doesn't have the three I want in at the same time. My local Superdrug tends to have better stock because it's a smaller, less popular branch.
However, I don't think I am wrong, because when I got home and looked online, only the kabuki brush is still in the 3 for 2.
I am particularly annoyed by all this as I spent quite a while reading reviews, trying to find a reasonably priced angle eyeliner brush. I was going to get the GOSH one along with the eyeliner/lip brush, as the top fell off my lip brush and I'm fed up with trying to use it without the handle, and another flat eyeshadow brush, because I went to Tesco to see if they had the Barbara Daly eyeshadow brush (yes, I do get most of my brush recs from Lipsticks & Lightsabers) and it wasn't there. There wasn't even an empty space where it should be, it just didn't exist. Any recommendations for alternatives?
Thank you for enduring my moan. I am now going to go back to grumbling and practising on my tiny violin.
